Initiated in spring 2023, the focus of this interchange is to forge diplomacy through art, inspire each other through cross-cultural exposure, and to expose the artwork to broader audiences in both countries. Thus far, the project has spawned several trips by American artists to Cuba, three exhibitions in Havana, and numerous Cuba-related events in San Antonio.
